These equipments received by the Emergency Management Agency are part of the Lot 2 Program that deals with the modules for High Capacity Pumping and Barriers for flood protection.

Donation tools and equipment with the above mentioned modules will be part of the International Exercise which will be organized in Croatia, where all the countries of the Western Balkans and Turkey are expected to participate. This field exercise will be organized from 9 to 13 October 2017 in Varazdin (Croatia) under the auspices of the Croatian Civil Protection Authority which aims to test regional cooperation and interaction between the multinational Civil Defense for High Capacity Pumping and Barriers that have been created and trained under the Lot 2 Program.

Also, training was held on the use of these devices and their testing took place on 6 and 7 September 2017 by the IPA FlOODs consortium at the premises of AME. The purpose of this training was to train the Kosovo team to use this equipment before traveling next month for field training in Croatia.
